In an exclusive interview with India Today, senior Congress leader P Chidambaram talks about the rise of Vijay and his party TVK in Tamil Nadu, why Congress is backing TVK and the future of the INDIA bloc after a DMK leader said it's over. Chidambaram said the decision to back TVK was taken by the Congress high command after the TVK emerged as the single largest party, but fell short of a majority, while the DMK-led alliance failed to secure enough seats.
