Relive Michael Urie's Anastasia-Style Journey to the Drama Desk Awards

Urie knows how to make an entrance…even if it is by wheelchair. The 62st Annual Drama Desk Awards were held on June 4 at Town Hall. As the best of the theater community gathered to celebrate another successful year onstage, host Michael Urie encountered a curious problem: a billboard knocked him unconscious on his way to the theater. Amnesia ensued, ''Anastasia''-style, and Urie had to be coaxed back to the stage by "beloved character actors" Judith Light, George Takei, Danny DeVito, Jackie Hoffman, and Rum Tum Tugger.
