PALCODA e TAMAR, i borghi fantasma di Tramonti - Borgo Vuar e Borgo Brusat - Lago di Redona

This extremely fascinating itinerary will lead us to discover several abandoned villages located in the municipality of Tramonti di Sotto. These are the so-called "ghost villages" of Palcoda and Tamar, as well as other now-uninhabited settlements such as Borgo Vuar and Borgo Brusat, where vegetation has now taken over. Moss, lichens, and plants embrace the remains of houses and envelop the stones, giving these places a timeless charm. It's impossible to wander among these ruins without imagining the life that once animated these villages: small communities of people busy with their daily lives, among houses, stables, and fields. But why reach them by bike? Simple: a comfortable forest road allows you to pedal with relative ease until you reach the altitude near Borgo Tamar. From there, a network of trails connects the various villages: some are easy, others more technical and challenging, perfect for those seeking fun and adrenaline.
