Ravel’s song cycle Shéhérazade is reimagined for piano (Malcolm Martineau) and ney flute (Burcu Karadağ) on soprano Fatma Said's debut album, El Nour. El Nour (النور , or "The Light") explores music of Western and Eastern origins through an enchanting program of French, Spanish, and Arabic songs.
