Obundhingiya bwa Bwamba - Culture, conservation take center stage in Bwamba Kingdom

In Bundibugyo Town Council, joy and tradition filled Kawamala Memorial Grounds as hundreds gathered to celebrate the 11th Coronation Anniversary of Omudingiya wa Bwamba, His Majesty Lt. Col. Martin Ayongi Kamya. State Minister for Gender and Social Development Peace Regis Mutuuzo officiated the celebrations marked by pomp and joy. In his keynote address, the monarch called upon his subjects, the Banabudhingiya, to champion environmental conservation, linking recent temperature surges to deforestation.
