The Silent CD Killer You Forgot!

On today's video, I am sharing something I've never seen: a silent killer that may exist in your CD collection. Recently, a friend of mine was horrified to find several of his CD's completely destroyed by a simple piece of foam that used to be placed inside multi-disc jewel cases - specially on the classical music genre. Over the years, those sheets of foam began to decompose and react inside the jewel case, eating through the information layer of the CD's. I caught this problem in time, years ago, before it ruined any of my discs. However, many collectors were not as lucky, as they left many of their discs unchecked. On this video, we'll see the terrifying results. Why am I making these videos? Because I hate to see record shops die. Streaming is NOT music. Streaming is just background noise. Buy CDs. Buy vinyl. Buy whatever physical format you like. Buy music. Buy movies. Buy books. Our culture is our biggest asset. It's not free. There is no feeling like sitting down in order to enjoy a music record by your favourite Artist, holding it on your hand, appreciating its artwork, reading liner notes, smelling the paper, putting the record on the player, and pressing the Play button.
