Long Distance Walks: Stour and Orwell Walks - Part 3: Ipswich to Shotley

Distance: 24km (14.9 Miles) Ascent: 137m Duration: 9 Hours The Stour and Orwell Walk is a 40 mile long waymarked trail that starts at Felixstowe and ends at Cattawade. Along its route the Orwell Estuary is followed into Ipswich and then down to Shotley before joining the Stour Estuary into Cattawade. Part 3 follows the Orwell Estuary from Ipswich to Shotley, taking in several lovely historic features and wildlife hotspots slightly inland as well as along the estuary itself.
