This is the fourth installment of our Kyushu Tour 2026. This year, we'll be traveling for over a month! We haven't even decided on the itinerary yet!! After landing in Kitakyushu, we arrived at Furuyu Onsen in Saga Prefecture. First of all, the hot spring town is great. It looks deserted, but it's not abandoned. There are signs of new vitality slowly emerging. And above all, the hot springs are great. The water is generally lukewarm. Staying in it for a long time makes you feel like a baby floating in the womb. You feel as if you're enveloped in the hot water. And after you emerge, you're amazed at how smooth your skin feels. It's the first time I've ever experienced such beautiful skin-beautifying water. So, at the end of this tour, we decided to relax here before heading home. We loved it so much!! After that, we built a lightweight camper van out of an Every (No. 1), then a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (No. 2), and currently travel around in a modified Global Exstage that we bought second-hand. We use a wood-burning stove. We love canoeing and snorkeling! In 2012, we built an "adult secret base" on our property with over 200 friends. We use it as our base for various activities.
