Just a Little Talk with Jesus - Blackwood Brothers (c. 1948)
Hey y'all! Here's the next installment of the Blackwood Brothers recordings: 'Just a Little Talk with Jesus' first released on White Church 1142. I'm not quite sure who is on tenor here, though my guess would be Calvin Newton. They had a number of tenors they cycled through the late 1940's. From the start of 1948 to the end of 1949 this run would include Roy Blackwood, Calvin Newton, Cat Freeman, and Alden Toney in that order. Anyhow, hope you all enjoy!
