Dr. Lafoi is a short film produced by Nokphade for Manipur State AIDS Control Society to generate awareness about the HIV & AIDS. This video talks about importance of knowing one's HIV status. It gives the message that the only way to know one's HIV status is through HIV testing only. If found positive, one can start medication by registering at the ART centre. The video also talks about the HIV & AIDS (Prevention & Control) Act 2017. The Act prohibits discrimination of People living with HIV or those affected by HIV. The Government of Manipur has also appointed Ombudsman under the Act to redress complaints against discrimination.
