Triumph Scrambler 1200X Suspension Upgrade | Andreani Misano + 3cm Lift
This upgrade completely changed how my Scrambler 1200X feels on the road—and it’s not just about comfort. In this video, I upgrade the front suspension on my Triumph Scrambler 1200X with the Andreani Misano Rally Race cartridge kit, installed inside the original Marzocchi forks. The goal was simple: gain around 3 cm of extra height and, more importantly, get full control over the suspension with proper adjustability. Alongside that, I also switched to the brake line setup from the Scrambler 1200 XC. With the addition of the ClassicBikeRaisch front shock guards, the original routing—running over the tire—left the brake line too exposed. The XC setup routes the line differently, with a Y-connection on the frame, which solves that issue. The installation was handled by BMC Triumph and turned out to be more involved than expected. The ABS unit on the Scrambler is buried deep inside the bike, so routing the new brake line required removing quite a few parts. They kept me updated throughout the process with photos and videos, which was great to see. In the end, I’m very happy with how this setup turned out. I’ll share my initial impressions and a before-and-after comparison to see how much of a difference this upgrade really makes.
