Launching from Marmolada summit with a paraglider

After a short brake I started off from the Marmolada again to return to my car at Kronplatz (Bruneck). I instantly found a thermal right in front coming up from the shady side of the mountain and started to climb. There was quite some wind and the thermal was drifting towards the south and at some point joined up with the stronger lee-thermal that was coming off from the sun heated south cliff face of the Marmolada...I had some tense and scary moments there as the air was extremely turbulent there for the a couple of turns...I climbed to cloudbase at 4358 m over sea level and headed back north.
