Q: The diagnostic test says my HDD is not installed or it fails :( A: If the diagnostic test shows the HDD as not installed or if it fails, that means it may be loose or bad. Try 'Reseating' the HDD first as seen here in this video. Try the diagnostic test again. If it fails to change the scan, I would then replace the HDD. A: If you cannot access the diagnostic test, then we don't know if your Hard Drive (HDD) is healthy. We can then proceed, assuming it is. If the other steps in this video do not help, I would then try to reinstall the Operating System (OS).
