How To Graft Fig Trees! With Results!

In this video I transform an established fig tree in a greenhouse in the Danish countryside into a multi-variety fig tree using four different fig varieties brought from California. The challenge? The scions had been sitting in the refrigerator for around 3 months, so I honestly wasn't sure whether they would still be viable or if the grafts would succeed. I walk through the entire process step by step, including the tools I use, the grafting tape, how I prepare the rootstock and scions, and how I make and wrap each graft. I graft all five branches of the tree and then fast-forward 6 weeks later to reveal the results. Did the old refrigerated scions survive? Did the grafts actually take? Watch to see what happened.
