Social Experiment - Giving out roses on Valentine's Day 2020 in London

Today, @girlivevo and I took to the streets and decided to spread some joy by giving out roses for Valentine’s Day. A lot of people feel disillusioned and bitter about this day and love in general, so we decided we wanted to do our little bit to help. Yes it’s now become a commercial, consumerist holiday and there is an unnecessary pressure on people to have a « romantic other » or to feel lonely, but we don’t have to view it that way. This day, just like any other, should give us a chance to express love, kindness and joy in any way that makes us feel comfortable. Beneath a world that pretends to not care, there is a world full of people who care so deeply, who are scared of being rejected or misunderstood or laughed at. We can all help change that perception by our daily choices. If the world seems scary it's because we make it so, it's because fear is what most of us choose to concentrate on.
