The Sword and the Rose ( Suite )
Back in the day when the magic kingdom made great movies, they produced this swashbuckling tale of romance, intrigue and derring do set in Elizabethan England. Richard Todd and Glynis Johns took the central roles, but the picture is stolen by James Robertson Justice as a very jovial Henry VIII. The score is by Clifton Parker, who also scored Treasure Island for the same studio. The suite contains...Fanfare / The lute dance / Galliard / Volta.
