Sega GENESIS / Mega Drive II | Black Screen of DEATH! & Bad Audio!

A friend of mine asked me to take a look at his Mega Drive 2, as it was only showing a blank screen and not playing any games! It also appears to have a problem with the sound, producing a beeping/crackling noise! Let's see if we can repair it! Hope you enjoy! Steve PS. I'm not an expert in repairs at all.
