In this video, I compared the performance, cost, and token usage differences of the Claude Sonnet 5 and Claude Opus 4.8 models by testing them with the same prompts. Can Sonnet 5 really outperform Opus 4.8? Could the cheaper Claude Sonnet 5 be an alternative to Opus 4.8 for daily use, coding, research, and AI agent tasks? In this video, I show which one is more logical in real-world use cases by testing the same prompts on both models.
