Tekken 2 [PS1] - play as Kazuya Mishima

This is a playthrough using Kazuya Mishima in the PS1 version of Tekken 2. Read on below for more information... Kazuya is the penultimate boss for everyone besides himself in the game. This is a different version of him to the CPU Kazuya, so technically he isn't the penultimate boss. He is an unlockable playable character. ===== ABOUT KAZUYA ===== As mentioned earlier, this is a different and separate version of him to the CPU Boss Kazuya, created for the purpose of being selected/controlled by a human player. He has three costumes, the karate trousers (default); white shirt/blue jeans (2nd); and purple suit (3rd). Obviously if you didn't know that CPU Kazuya existed (most people don't), you would think that this is the same Kazuya used for the CPU boss. Gameplay-wise, as one of the original Mishimas of Tekken, he has the trademark Mishima-style moves. In Tekken 2, many people tend to think that his moves list is identical to Devil (besides the Lasers)... this is most definitely not the case, as Kazuya has more tricks up his sleeve, making him the better character. ===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ===== ---- His Stage 8 personal boss is Roger; his Stage 9 boss is Heihachi; and his final boss is Devil. ---- His purple suit is a hidden 3rd costume which is unlockable. ---- He and CPU Kazuya are the only characters in the game to fight their personal sub-bosses (Roger) on Stage 8 without the "personal boss" BGM theme. ===== ABOUT PS1 TEKKEN 2 ===== This is one of the best fighting games on the PS1, and it is better than the arcade version due to it being graphically identical (standard-wise) and featuring tons more features, including an Arranged soundtrack. The game is based on Version B of the arcade game, with the initial difference of all the sub-bosses and bosses needing to be unlocked. If you are of the PS1/Saturn/PS2/Dreamcast/etc. eras, you'll know that unlocking characters in fighting games are part of the fun.
