We Made an Arrowhead with Primitive Tools

Dave’s nephew Darren Parsons came out to show us how to make an arrowhead from scratch using primitive tools. No shortcuts. Just stone, antlers, hammer rocks, patience, and a whole lot of careful strikes. In this video, Darren walks through the process of shaping stone into an arrowhead the old way. You’ll see how he breaks down the rock, starts forming the point, pressure flakes the edges, and works the piece until it finally starts looking like something that could have been made hundreds or thousands of years ago. One wrong move and the whole piece can snap. If you’re into primitive skills, arrowhead making, flintknapping, camping, history, or just watching someone make something cool with their hands, this one is worth watching.
