The Arm Swing Illusion
This video is an extract from Jim Waldron's "Great Shot" DVD series shot in 1997. The Arm Swing Illusion is one of the cornerstone principles of his Balance Point Golf Schools. For more information go to www.balancepointgolf.com Whilst the DVD is no longer available, the manual may be purchased from the website. New video content is being prepared for uploading in the coming weeks and months. The correct angle of the left arm to the chest is 45 degrees during the takeaway. The push away of 25-35 degrees, mentioned in the video, is from a starting angle of around 15-20 degrees at setup. this gives a total around 45 degrees. Jim's current understanding is much lower arms at top whilst doing the arm only drill, ie the butt of club should be around sternum height, not face height.
