Fixing Cinder Fall's Backstory - RWBY Rewrite

Many RWBY fans felt dissatisfied by Cinder’s backstory in RWBY Volume 8, but I started to wonder to myself: what would I do differently? What sort of story do I think would have been stronger to showcase during the Atlas and Mantle arc? I challenged myself to create another version of Cinder’s backstory within the confines of the canon elements the show presented. So while there are no pirates (😂), I hope you’ll enjoy my little writing exercise. Also, a disclaimer: this rewrite is not for Midnight as an episode, but for the scope of Cinder’s backstory as a whole. So don’t imagine this in the original 9 minutes or whatever haha.
