DASURECO 51st Anniversary 2026

Celebrating 51 years of service and dedication, the DASURECO family officially marked its anniversary on June 1, 2026, under the empowering theme, "Locked In and Leveling Up." The milestone celebration commenced with a holy Thanksgiving Mass officiated by Bishop Guillermo V. Afable, D.D., who beautifully ignited the employees' sense of purpose and commitment to service. In his homily, Bishop Afable challenged everyone to live by a profound spiritual standard, reiterating the phrase, "Less of me and more of others so that we may have everything for everyone." True to this spirit of selflessness and gratitude, the anniversary was made even more meaningful through Handog ni Ekong, a corporate social responsibility initiative aimed at sharing the blessings the cooperative has received over the decades. The anniversary activities kicked off with heartfelt outreach visits to various adopted charities, spanning from orphanages to homes for the aged. DASURECO brought joy, comfort, and support to the residents and beneficiaries of the Balai Paraiso Crisis Intervention Center for Children, the Camillian Sisters, the St. John Paul II Seminary of Digos, the Haven of Hope Orphanage, and Bahay Kalinga in Barangay Bolila, Malita, Davao Occidental. The celebration filled with a high-energy program that showcased the immense talent and unity of DASURECO’s workforce through a spectacular "Evolution of Eras" presentation. Produced and performed entirely by the employees themselves, the numbers bridged generations by bringing the distinct music, style, and energy of the Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z to the stage. Amid the festivities, the cooperative also looked toward its future by officially announcing its new probationary employees. General Manager Engr. Jerry D. Morastil, PEE, underscored his commitment to the workforce during the event, stating, "Your growth is a priority to us, your growth is a priority to me as a General Manager of DASURECO. Mag-uban ta sa paglantaw ug layo, apan sa paglantaw sa layo, dili nato kalimtan nga naa si Kristo sa atong centro." Complementing this vision of growth and faith, Board President Atty. Glenn F. Solana, CPA, anchored the Cooperative’s long history of success in divine guidance and a shared purpose. Reflecting on the cooperative's journey, Atty. Solana shared, "I would like to believe that there is an Almighty that helped and guided DASURECO through those times. It is the same Almighty that unite us and ignited those employees and officers that came before us. We need to honor Him by staying true and united in DASURECO's mission by providing reliable, affordable, and high quality services to DASURECO's covered communities."
