I know it's been a while since we've shared any new content, but we're back! Today I want to tell you about the five things I wouldn't do again if I were to start a glamping business right now. The idea for this video came about because, in recent months, my partner Daniel and I have been working on the course "Glamping: A Profitable Investment," where we teach how to develop a business plan focused on glamping. Many people who have purchased the course and are interested in developing their own glamping project have asked us many questions. We've also spoken with friends who own their own glamping sites and they've shared their experiences. Based on all of this, I've compiled five things I consider common mistakes that I would avoid if I could start this business over. 1. I wouldn't build five accommodation units from scratch. Instead, I would start with one or two to learn more about the business in a controlled way and with lower fixed costs. 2. I wouldn't design all the units exclusively for couples. Instead, I would create at least one unit with a family focus or the option to expand for groups. 3. I wouldn't buy a home kitchen setup. Instead, I would opt for a more industrialized kitchen suitable for hotel operations. 4. I wouldn't spend the entire initial budget on building and preparing the property. Instead, I would set aside a portion to invest in advertising and marketing from the beginning. 5. I wouldn't do things empirically. Instead, I would seek specific glamping training and consider hiring someone with experience in the business for advice. Remember to like the video and subscribe for more content.
