Quitting Architecture
If you know that architecture is not for you (or that it is for you), then you have to make the right decision and take ownership of your life. If your parents are pressuring you into a particular career, you can either confront them now or later. But if you wait until later, you will grow resentful. Also, be careful about the stories you tell yourself. You may think you are too (mature, bad at math, bad at drawing, disorganized) to make it in architecture. But maybe you have to change who you are, for the better. There are times to battle through something and there are times to move on. There is a difference between giving up and letting go. You know the difference. You know when you're giving up and when you're letting go. Make the right decision. Drew Paul Bell (of http://www.DrewPaulBell.com)
