Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. It spans in 3 time zones. There is about 85% that you can still drive. I suggest running on I-40, it's bigger and less bumpy. Despite opening in 1926, the entire stretch wasn't fully paved until 1938.
