Caravan Cat boards a northbound vessel, settling among coiled ropes and stacked cargo as the harbor slowly shrinks behind. The sea stretches wide and grey beneath an open sky. Hour by hour, the journey carries the ship further from familiar waters. The wind turns sharper. The spray grows colder. The deep blue of the sea begins to fade into something pale and quiet. Caravan Cat stands at the rail, watching the horizon, feeling the world grow colder with every passing mile. North.
