The 4th of July big big Small town Celebration in Andalusia | Brenda Gantt

Small town celebrations are always among friends and family. I guess it's because we all know each other in small towns. As the parade went by Hannah was hollering out all the names of everybody that was on the float and saying happy Fourth of July and calling their names. That's because we all know each other. It was 90 something degrees outside, but we all showed up. We all stood up. We all waved our flags. We all hugged. That's the way it is. I am proud of Andalusia, Alabama and the effort that all of its residents take in our county of Covington to make every holiday a good one. I know that you're small town probably did the very same thing --aren't we proud that we have the freedom to let our little children march in a parade, ride their little bicycles and tricycles in a parade, and bring our go decorated golf carts, four wheelers and horses. I even saw some people that brought their dog to the parade and had them marching in the parade. How blessed we are I love you small town America.
