Wirral Way - West Kirby To Hooton - 12 Miles......ISH
Join me on a 12 mile-ish hike along the Wirral Way from West Kirby to Hooton. A route that follows a historic railway line (Closed circa 1956 but built in the 1800's). It also follows the wonderful Wirral coastline and on a day like today, which was delighfully sunny, there aren't much better places to be for me. I do like hill walking, don't get me wrong. But the temperatures today were just enough encouragement to keep me local. It's long, straight and mostly flat. Great for a man of my years who constantly thinks he's younger than he is :-0) #hiking #walking #walkingtour #oldmanhikes #wirral
