TÜV, Bußgelder, Zulassungen: Das kommt auf Motorradfahrer zu! - News 07/26

Our July news isn't just about the latest registration figures and the resulting insight that Chinese motorcycles are on the rise! We also have interesting information about some new fines that can be imposed from the beginning of July. Among other things, important appeal deadlines are changing, and the digital driver's license is coming, along with EU-wide enforcement of driving license violations. Parking violations will become a bit trickier in the future – especially for us motorcyclists – because the introduction of so-called "cam cars" allows authorities to digitally track parking offenses! Not a bad innovation in itself, except that we motorcyclists are disproportionately affected by this change. What was previously tolerated – parking on the sidewalk – will no longer be treated leniently by a cam car, but classified as an offense! The EU-wide standardization of the technical inspection of motor vehicles (MOT/TÜV) rounds out the list of new developments! Enjoy watching!
