2016 Honda CR-V Hesitation, Surge, Power Loss, MIL Reported On No Codes
This CR-V was brought in for a hesitation, surge and intermittent power loss. Scanning of all controllers turned up no codes either current or in history. Found the engine oil significantly overfull and diluted yet the fuel trims were not significantly affected and the oil didn't smell like gasoline. Low oil viscosity or foaming may have been affecting the cam timing system but no codes were set. I will post an update in a few days once I hear back from the customer.
