Gerechtigkeit für Tiere | Sternstunde Philosophie | SRF Kultur
Society's attitude towards animals fluctuates between deep affection and exploitation. Some have names and are pampered as pets, while others have numbers and are kept in suffering conditions, only to be killed after a few weeks or months. This exploitation of animals is deeply ingrained in human life and culture. Philosopher Bernd Ladwig is therefore calling for a political shift in the debate. 🔔 Subscribe to SRF Kultur Sternstunden on YouTube now 👉 https://www.youtube.com/srfkulturster... Bernd Ladwig wants justice for animals, which for him means understanding them as members of the political community. What this means in concrete terms, with regard to the cat at home, the giraffe in the zoo, the fish in the stream, or the turkey in a sandwich, is the question posed by "Sternstunde" host Barbara Bleisch. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- More culture on YouTube 🔔 https://www.youtube.com/srfkultur?sub...
