KUIU Mountain Star 2p Tent Review. 1.5kg, spacious, packs down tiny, but is it worth the money?

Those of you familiar with me and my channel will know I have a soft spot for the USA brand 'KUIU' because they make cracking good tents. I have their 'Storm Star' - dear me that tent will take an absolute hammering. I love it. It's whisper quiet in high winds. I also have a 'Summit Star' - a totally different ultralightweight 1p shelter in the style of a trekking pole/Lanshan - racks in a a paltry 1kg and packs down tiny - but masses of space and a quality build. I've been eyeing up their Mountain Star for about 18 months now....then this year an upgrade came out....and then I saw their website actually had some in stock...(if you've been wanting to buy a Kuiu tent you'll know how hard they are to get a hold of in the UK).... So this is my review after 5 differing weather camps with it - everything from 12hrs heavy drizzle to mid 30's dry beach heat, a windy night up the Cheviots and then it really showed its colours the other night with 9hrs of heavy rain. I'm super happy with it for the weight, packability and quality build - plus the Kuiu lifetime guarantee. I paid full UK price - £580 it RRP's in the USA for $499 (£410) Ouch. Is it worth it?
