Fusarium wilt in banana trees is a troublesome disease, and there may not be an effective treatment for it yet. This disease attacks many types of bananas, such as Kepok bananas, Ambon bananas, Porem bananas, Cavendish bananas, and others. However, some bananas, such as Mulli bananas and Horn bananas, can survive Fusarium wilt. The most effective way to eradicate Fusarium wilt is to completely cut down the affected banana trees to prevent the disease from spreading to other trees. Some farmers' groups also employ a strategy: before planting, they sprinkle dolomite or ash and spray insecticide in the holes prepared for the banana plants. This aims to prevent the bananas from contracting Fusarium wilt. Some also use soap mixed with dolomite or ash and then spray it on the affected banana trees. Although this method is considered ineffective, many farmers still use it because there is no effective treatment for Fusarium wilt.
