RECIPE: Cabbage Beef Casserole Use a 2-quart casserole dish Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 3/4 head of medium-sized cabbage, chopped 1/2 white onion, chopped 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 can beef broth 3 tablespoons butter garlic salt and black pepper to taste For Topping: 1 cup Colby cheese, shredded 1 cup Panko bread crumbs 2 tablespoons butter, melted Directions: 1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2.) Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain. Mix in soup and beef broth. Stir until well combined. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. 3.) Melt butter in a large pot on high heat. Add the chopped cabbage and onions, seasoning with garlic salt, and pepper to taste. Stirring frequently, saute the cabbage for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from stove. 4.) Combine beef mixture with cabbage. Stir gently. Transfer to the casserole dish. 5.) Mix the topping ingredients in a medium bowl and sprinkle over the casserole. 6.) Bake uncovered for 25-35 minutes or until topping is slightly brown. Serve immediately! Enjoy!!
