Reassemble of 8" Mini Banjo. Full process rebuild.

In this extended video, I take you through the complete reassembly of my handmade 8-inch mini banjo after a full service and maintenance session. Built entirely from reclaimed old oak in 2024, this unique instrument reflects my passion for traditional craftsmanship and natural materials. In the video, every component is carefully reassembled, from the wooden rim and neck to the hardware, bridge and tuning setup. I also demonstrate the maintenance process, including the application of quality wood oil to protect and nourish the old oak, helping to preserve both its appearance and tonal qualities. The video offers a longer detailed look at the construction and assembly of this compact banjo, showing each step of the process and the care involved in maintaining a handmade instrument. For those interested in banjo building, restoration, woodworking, or traditional acoustic instruments, I hope this provides both inspiration and practical insight. I built 8" and 11" and 12" banjos allmost the same way. The video concludes with a sound test, allowing you to hear the warm, distinctive voice of this 8-inch old oak mini banjo after its complete reassembly and service. Thank you for watching, and welcome to the world of handcrafted banjos.
