Since 2017, the Ain Department has been engaged in a long-term campaign to promote the region. With the "gentilé" (demonym), the Origin'Ain label, the repeated visits of the Tour de France, and the slogan "Ici c'est l'Ain" (Ain's Here), the department is increasingly revealing itself as an attractive region.
