🌊 Surviving BC’s Wild West Coast! Kitimat to Comox #Part 1

Join us as we cruise our Nordhavn 40 from Kitimat, BC, to Comox on Vancouver Island on the first leg of another unforgettable ocean adventure! This journey had a little bit of everything—thick fog, steady rain, brilliant sunshine, strong winds, and choppy seas that kept us on our toes. We took the outside route through beautiful Millbank Sound and cruised past the stunning Goose Island coastline, where the scenery reminded us why we love exploring the BC coast. Along the way, we stopped at Staples Island, where we launched the kayak and quietly explored the incredible wildlife and peaceful shoreline. Our adventure continued with overnight stays at the always-welcoming Port Harvey and the tranquil Gowlland Harbour, giving us more opportunities to paddle, explore, and soak in the natural beauty. On Day 6, we arrived in Comox and tied up at Fisherman’s Dock. It was the perfect place to stretch our legs, pick up a few groceries, and enjoy a relaxing walk through the nearby park before preparing for the next leg of the trip. From remote anchorages to picturesque harbours, this voyage is full of spectacular scenery, wildlife, and the real experiences of cruising the incredible British Columbia coast.
