Ed King and Artimus Pyle - Saturday Night Special Band - Full Concert - SKYNYRD LEGENDS TOUR 2005

Live at MOORE PARK, RALEIGH, NC Sept. 3, 2005 in front of 30,000 Skynyrd Fans!!!! This band was considered the "other" LYNYRD SKYNYRD from the standpoint of playing the 70's classic Skynyrd, featuring ED KING, ARTIMUS PYLE, LESLIE HAWKINS and JOJO BILLINGSLEY. The band was put together to raise money for Katrina survivors as well as to raise money for UNOS, and organ donor charity. This band played 11 shows in 2005, most of which have been recorded and available online. The balance of the players are from a Skynyrd Tribute band in NY known as THE SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL BAND - not bad for a bunch of Yankee's!!!! Just goes to show you that this music appeals to everyone, from all walks of life..... and this band played it from the heart.
