Ruta Épica Día 8: Cruzando a Argentina por el Paso de Jama (4.827m) y llegando a Purmamarca

On the eighth day of the Epic Route, we left San Pedro de Atacama behind to tackle one of the most challenging and spectacular sections of the trip: crossing into Argentina through the Jama Pass. The day took us through breathtaking landscapes, beginning with the imposing view of the Licancabur Volcano. The main challenge was the altitude, climbing to 4,827 meters above sea level. The cold was intense, and altitude sickness (or puna) took its toll, testing both our physical endurance and that of our motorcycles. One of the most memorable moments was finding snow on the high plateau, a surprise that our Brazilian friends in the group thoroughly enjoyed. Crossing the border between Chile and Argentina was a quick and efficient process, allowing us to continue our journey into northwestern Argentina. The descent gifted us with unforgettable views, such as the Salinas Grandes, an immense sea of salt that seems otherworldly, and the spectacular Lipán Pass, with its curves and multicolored mountains. Finally, we arrived in Purmamarca, a dreamlike town in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, where the famous Hill of Seven Colors greeted us. The day ended with a well-deserved dinner, sharing stories and enjoying local folk music, celebrating the successful completion of one of the most demanding stages of the adventure. #EpicRoute #NoviceMotorcyclist #JamaPass #Purmamarca #MotorcycleTrip #ChileArgentina #Voge900DSX Join and become a member of this channel to access its benefits:    / @motonovato   💬 Want to support this channel?
