Doug Ramos On3 Layout Tour for NNG 16 Feb 2021

Doug Ramos shows his O scale modeling masterpiece of a train layout, called the "Poverty Gulch & Opulence RR." The presentation includes pictures of his many detailed buildings, trestles and scenery, and includes tips about his modeling techniques and design process. At the end there is some interesting Q&A with the live audience. This clinic was part of the third in a series of layout tours, clinics and vendor presentations that are being presented by a group of avid narrow gage modelers around the world calling themselves "National Narrow Gage" (NNG.groups.io). We have started this series of presentations called "Off the Beaten Track" to capture layouts located in remote areas that are not likely to be included in future in-person model railroad conventions that may occur after the pandemic is over, as well as informative clinics and vendor updates of interest to the railroad modeling community.
