Talking Dragon Age: Garahel

Welcome back to Talking Dragon Age, the show where I talk about Dragon Age. Today, we're doing another proper theory video. Garahel, hero of the Fourth Blight, along with his sister Isseya, were time travelers. This theory comes from the fact that Garahel makes a joke about the Qunari, which does not make sense since the qunari were not in Thedas yet. Turab apparently laughs at this joke, but I do not think he was a time traveler. He may have just assumed from context that a qunari is a big creature of some sort and simply didn't question in; or didn't want to seem dumb for not knowing. Or else, because Garahel said it quietly, Turab's laugh just happened to coincide with Garahel saying this and it actually wasn't even related. Another possible traveler is Isseya's dwarven friend she sees in Fortress Haine. It's just a possibility. Vivienne claims no one has ever succeeded in using time magic before, but that makes sense because the timeline in which it was used was erased. Who knows how many other times it has been used and then erased? Notice how Solas in future Redcliffe doesn't even question that they can go back in time by reversing Alexius's spell?
