How to find birds for photography - Camera settings

How can we find birds to photograph. This is not easy, but spending time out in nature is one thing that helps. I also use trail camera to track what species that is in an area. Spring is the best time for bird photography in my opinion. This is the time when the forest truly come alive. Spending time in the forest when birds song and leaf start to color nature, is also when I feel most alive. And is the best medicine for my mental health. This year I was happy to spend a lot more time at our cabin together with family. And also nature around the area.
