In this video, I test Pébéo's Ultimate Pouring. Well, let me tell you, for me, it didn't quite go as planned... Following my post about Pébéo's Ultimate Pouring, Pébéo contacted me to provide you with more details about the product and suggestions for its use. Product composition: These are exclusive formulations. The medium is not a classic pouring medium. The catalyst is not composed of silicone oil. The catalyst reacts upon contact with the medium, creating unique cellular and lace-like effects. Its properties also allow the effects to be fixed during the drying phase, guaranteeing the final result. Mixing: The texture of both mixes is important. The proportions provided in the user guide and the video master class must be followed approximately. The important thing when mixing with the medium is to maintain a fluid texture, and when mixing with the catalyst, a slightly pasty texture. A texture that is too thick or too fluid can impair the effects. Application protocol: To familiarize yourself with the basic technique, it is important to follow the color application order as indicated in the user guide and the video master class. First, the background color, then the overlay colors, and finally the catalyst applied with a knife. Never mix catalyst with other colors directly on the surface as demonstrated in the video. Knife application: The catalyst layer must be applied in a thin layer with a painting knife, lightly touching the surface of the colors mixed with the medium. If too much catalyst is applied, or if the knife penetrates too deeply into the colors already applied, the effects will not appear.
