Mr G Head Shave No76 Leaf Razor V's Gillette Fusion5 & Arko Fresh Cream

Today’s shave was requested by Flash. It is a comparison shave between the Leaf Razor and the Gillette Fusion5 cartridge Razor. The cream I used for today’s shave was Arko Fresh. I knew what the result of this shave would be before I put blade to head. It was always going to be a draw. Having said that, the argument for using the Leaf in preference to the Gillette is clear. The long term costs of buying blades for the Gillette are astronomical in comparison to buying DE blades for the Leaf. There is also the ecological aspect to consider. The Leaf is fully recyclable and the Gillette cartridge razors are not. The shave itself was a very relaxing shave with a BBS result and an interesting Balm to finish it off.
