Reding Family Threshing: rebuilding the old equipment

Robin Reding took 25 years to rebuild his Minneapolis threshing machine from the bottom up. There are few people who know more than Robin about the intricacies of running a threshing machine. He also rebuilt his George White steam tractor and both machines play a pivotal role in the 2022 Reding Family Threshing Bee. Horses pull the unique Stewart Stook Loader to fill numerous bundle racks with fodder for the threshing machine. Robin's son J. R. handles the horse side of the operation while Robin and his helpers keep the heritage machines running despite a few setbacks, like a broken seal on the steam tractor.
