ManTech Robot Warriors (Obviously these weren't successful, but modular action figures like this aren't a bad concept) 13. Promo for "Family Feud" 14. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (Featuring Raggedy Ann balloon test flight, the cast of "Riptide" and Woodie Woodpecker balloon. "Now that is not a woodpecker, that's a dog" - Pat Sajak, 1984) 15. 6x6 High Risers 16. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (With John Ratzenberger! SINGING...kind of! Also with Garfield and Joey Lawrence. There were more antics with Joey Lawrence and a magician during this that were extremely long and ultimately not very interesting or consequential to the rest of the parade so I left them out of this...WOAH!) 17. Promo for "Cheers" and "Night Court" 26. Radio City Hall Christmas Spectacular 27. Toys R Us 28. Cabbage Patch Kids Poseable Action Wear 29. WNBC Happy Thanksgiving Bumper 30. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (With Marching Bands, Ben Franklin, George Washington and Dionne Warwick riding a giant turkey) 31. Purina Dog Chow 32. Maxx Steele Erector Construction System (Maxx Steele would be the good name for a TV show about a futuristic cyborg cop) 33. Timex Quartz Watches 34. McDonald's (I believe this was the year that this ad debuted and it wouldn't surprise me at all if it actually premiered with this very parade spot) 36. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (With someone pressing a fast forward button, Bryant Gumbel drops parade facts and the Superman balloon foils Lex Luthor's plot to steal diamonds from the Museum of Natural History) 37. United Airlines/AT&T Phone offer 38. McDonald's All-American High School Band 39. Cabbage Patch Kids Brag Bag (Yes kids, brag about the all of the toys you have...preferably in front of the poor kids) 40. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (With the Disneyland 30th anniversary float/musical number! A humble Gumbel gives thanks and the Get Along Gang caboose. Robert Vaughn and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy Cadet Chorale's Salute to the Statue of Liberty, Underdog balloon, Georgia Engel sings and dances with the Care Bears, the Count from Sesame Street in his Count Mobile and Kermit The Frog balloon.
