Join the full curriculum here:    • Playlist   One of the hardest things to learn to do in pysanky is to draw straight, evenly spaced lines around the eggshell. It takes a lot of practice. Even with practice, sometimes you want more precision. A lathe makes precision easier. In this video I show how to use a craft lathe to draw guide lines on eggshells before applying wax. The lathe rotates the egg once it is positioned properly so that lines can be penciled precisely. This is especially useful on goose and emu eggshells. This particular lathe does not hold eggs larger than that. If you have been struggling with consistently dividing lines on your eggs and freehand drawing is frustrating, this video is for you.
