Opeth - The Moor (Played by Patrik Sas)

Hello everyone! As a die-hard fan of Opeth I've got something to say. I have strong personal feeling for this song. I discovered the band through this particular piece and Still life was the first album I heard from them. I was 12 years old back in the day and my father was already a big fan of them so he played me the whole record and.... The album changed my life. I've never heard music like that before. The incredible combination of progressive doomy death/black metal and mellow acoustic section with clean vocals just blown my mind. I recognized for the first time in my own life that music was something bigger than just songs; it was the first time I was able to embrace music as a part of my identity. Opeth defined my life. Thank you Mikael, Peter, M.Lopez and M.Mendez for the real art! With regards, Patrik Patrik Sas (26 years old drummer, currently living in Prague, Czech Republic, Europe).
