All you want to do is start taking photos. This video I cover the different camera modes of a canon camera. In the example I use a Canon 6Dm2 however I make note of other symbols on cameras like the Rebel. The camera modes are designed to help you gradiently learn your camera and its features as you progress through the modes but still get good, properly exposed photos. Each mode has different capabilities giving you more or less control over the different settings of the camera. Auto mode, Aperture Priority mode, Shutter Priority mode, Program Mode, Manual Mode, Shooting in Scene Mode, Creative Auto Mode, Bulb Mode and Custom Mode 1, Custom Mode 2 and some even have Custom Mode 3 – all these modes are covered in this video including those weird symbols you might have on your dial.
